We perform Restoration of your piano's existing finish, not stripping and refinishing. This consumes less time, usually at a fraction of the cost of refinishing, typically can be done in your home, and restores your magnificent instrument to its optimum appearance.

Using only solvents, dyes, and natural resins appropriate to the nineteenth century finishing trade, we apply consummate, British-trained, conservation skills. Each piano is evaluated separately and the fixed-cost estimate we provide is based upon the character of the existing finish and the resultant labor required to bring out the best. This can often lead to savings to you of thousands of dollars over the cost of refinishing while permitting you to continue to use and enjoy your piano during the period of finish restoration.
